たゝき勝（かち）ときどつと

そむき法（ほう）に戻（もと）【=悖】れる
天罰（てんはつ）にて忽（たちまち）ほろび
失（うせ）けるこそ
日月（じつけつ）いまだ
地（ち）に落（お）ちす
奇特（きとく）のほどそ

【眉間を射貫かれる平将門】
そこへ来て起き上がろうともせず、首をかき落とし、髪房を掴んで立ち上がった。大軍が一斉に楯を叩いて勝鬨の声をどっと上げた。道理に背き、法に背いた天罰によって、たちまち滅び失せてしまったのである。
日月がいまだ地に落ちず、
奇特なことの程が
ありがたいことよ。
