【土浦城に立てこもる長狭保時】
繁盛と兼任の兄弟は何とか父を助けて城中へと逃げ帰り、様々に看病をしたけれども、重傷であったため、ついに息を引き取ってしまった。今度の合戦で、繁盛の意見の通りに籠城して敵を待ち受けていれば、このようにむざむざと大将を討たせることはなかったであろうに。

【Nagasawa Yasutoki Takes Refuge in Tsuchiura Castle】
The brothers Shigemori and Kanetō somehow managed to help their father escape back into the castle, where they tended to him with various medical care. However, because it was such a grave wound, he finally breathed his last. If only they had followed Shigemori's advice in this battle and held up in the castle to await the enemy, they would not have allowed their general to be struck down so uselessly.
