搦捕註進可致尤異変有之節は猶弘道舘ニ帰炮

ニ而は早半鐘其余は町番所ニおゐて早拍子木
打立候様其節面々鉄炮町会所へ相詰メ我々下
知を請進退致候様支配切無洩可相達候〆

現代語訳
尋問が行われ、石（拷問具）を七つまで負わせられたそうです。
それでも「知りません」という趣旨を申し立て、腰も立たないような責め苦に
なっていたそうです。その娘が帰ったということを聞き、娘は伊勢に
参詣いたしました。私どもは日頃住んでいる悪い者の手下をし、
また色々な仲介ばかりをして暮らしていた報いで、
年老いて苦労していると思われ、先の悪事を悔やんでいる
そうです。

二十四日 大霜で快晴、寒気が強く、夜中曇り
この頃、京都の御模様が穏やかでなく、上野国辺りに浮浪の徒が集まって
いるという風説もあり、万一御城下へ入り込むことも
計り難く、御町同心中は昼夜怠りなく見回りをするので、その意を得て、なお
町役人にも加番などを出して少しも緩みなく見回り、火の元など
特に心を付け、騒ぎを起こしそうな者が見当たったら速やかに
捕らえて注進すること。もっとも異変がある時はなお弘道館に大砲を
三発撃つ旨の御達しがありましたので、火の見がある支配
では早鐘、その他は町番所において早拍子木を
打ち立てるように。その節、面々鉄砲を町会所へ持参して詰め、我々の
指示を受けて行動するよう、支配下に漏れなく伝達すること。
