かつをぶし
両四百五六十匁ゟ七百目位
白米両ニ壱斗六升之直段之米ニ而造酒いた
し候へは拾駄ニ付三十両はしニ上り候と酒
屋のおやじ咄候よし此節壱升上酒金壱分位
安ものニ而も壱〆四五百文位ニ候間過分之
利分と相見申候

白米両に一斗六升の値段の米にて造酒いたし候えば、十駄につき三十両ほどに上り候と酒屋の親父話し候よし。この節一升上酒金一分位、安物にても一〆四五百文位に候間、過分の利分と相見え申し候。

Using rice priced at 1 to 6 shō per ryō of white rice for sake brewing, it amounts to about 30 ryō per 10 loads, as the sake shop owner told us. At present, premium sake costs about 1 bu of gold per shō, and even cheap sake costs around 1,400-500 mon per shō, which appears to be an excessive profit margin.
