主真岡御陣屋へ右の次第を訴えた所、早速御人数
御出張、御代官関田源七郎殿、壬生御領主鳥井
丹波守殿、足利御領主戸田長門守殿、都合五百
人余りが柿木宿へ御出張になった所、当十二月十
一日暮れ六つ時、出流より三十人余りが手筒並びに槍等を
所持して参ったので、西さと村にて出合い、直様鉄砲を打ち
かけ戦ったので、生け捕りの者二十人程、小筒・刀傷にて
即死六人、栃木は引き取り散々逃げ去ったとのこと、多分
出流へ集まったとの沙汰のよし、御人数の方は一
人も怪我無しとのこと

they encountered them at Nishi-sato village and immediately opened fire with
muskets and fought, capturing about twenty people alive, six died instantly from
small cannon and sword wounds. Those from Tochigi withdrew and scattered in flight, probably
gathering at Shutsuryū according to reports. Among the official forces, not a
single person was injured, it is said.
