祭礼相撲四本柱土俵式并櫓太鼓免許
一信濃国伊那郡於高遠町各方御世話ヲ以
大相撲折々致興行候ニ付同所鎮守
鉾持三柱大権現神社江心願之儀有之四本柱
土俵式并櫓太鼓致奉納置候后後ニ至迄連名
之衆中御執持永々相撲興行頼入候依之
末々ニ至迄同職之者罷越候而茂右四本柱
土俵式并櫓太鼓江決而差構致間鋪候
為其免許仍如件

現代語訳
祭礼相撲四本柱土俵式並びに櫓太鼓許可証
一、信濃国伊那郡高遠町において、各方面の皆様のお世話により、
大相撲を時折興行いたしておりますが、同所の鎮守である
鉾持三柱大権現神社へ心願の件があり、四本柱
土俵式並びに櫓太鼓を奉納いたしました。今後に至るまで連名の
衆中の皆様がお執り持ちになり、末永く相撲興行をお願い申し上げます。これにより
末代に至るまで、同職の者が参りましても、右の四本柱
土俵式並びに櫓太鼓に対して決して差し障りをいたすことはございません。
その許可証として、よって件の如し。

License for Festival Sumo Four-Pillar Ring Style and Drum Tower
One: In Takato Town, Ina District, Shinano Province, through the assistance of various parties,
grand sumo tournaments are occasionally held. In connection with this, there was a sincere petition
to the tutelary shrine Hokomochi Sanbashira Daigongen Shrine of the same location, and the four-pillar
ring style and drum tower were dedicated to the shrine. Hereafter and into the future, the group of
signatories shall maintain this arrangement and we humbly request the continuation of sumo tournaments for generations to come. Therefore,
even if practitioners of the same profession should come in the future, they shall never
interfere with the aforementioned four-pillar ring style and drum tower.
This serves as a license to that effect, therefore as stated herein.
