浮気
屋の惚れ野がざわついて
いるゆえ少し勘借にて面当てとか
何とかにて古屋の
振りますとかいう
女郎を買ったが、この女郎は
惚れ野と違って繋がりもなく
見識が高く、この女郎の
目からは大次郎は三文が
ものもない無男に見えるゆえ
もっとも悪くする

♪御前様の花魁だ
といってあまりに心
強い鬼か嫌がつれないの
舌を出しというところだね
【花魁】
♪男が悪く見える
ゆえ言うことまで野暮ったい
ことを言う

英語訳
That night,
at the pleasure house,
Horeno was causing a commotion,
so he used some borrowed money
to spite her or something,
and bought a courtesan
called "Furuya no
Furimasu."
But this courtesan,
unlike Horeno, had no connection with him
and was of high discernment.
In this courtesan's eyes,
Daijirō appeared as a worthless man
not worth three mon,
so she treated him very poorly.

♪You're a high-ranking courtesan,
they say, but you're so cold-hearted—
like a demon or something so cruel
that you stick out your tongue at me.
【Courtesan】
♪Since the man looks bad,
even what he says
is boorish.
