弐拾里程奥之由無急度申聞候右泥水ゆへか
鯉鯰鰻其外川魚之類浮上り夥敷ものに

現代語訳
藤木保より約20里ほど奥の方からのことであると確実に聞き及びました。この泥水のためか、鯉、鯰、鰻その他川魚類が浮き上がり、大変な数になっております。
以上の件は、先日お触れもございましたので、異常な出来事でありますため、恐れながら宿場継送にて申し上げます。

先月末頃より信州浅間山が震動し、焼砂が降っておりますが、これまで数回のことでございました。5日の夜中には厚さ5寸ほど降りました。特に同6日夜六つ時（午後12時頃）より激しく降り始め、夜中雷鳴が大きく響き、翌7日昼四つ時（午前10時頃）まで降りました。砂の厚さは2寸7分余りとなり、1坪ほどの場所を測ったところ1石5斗3升余りございました。田畑に降った砂は5、6寸で、これにより作物は一様に
