差上申一札之事
一当村石切之儀村中取調書上仕候而処
此外壱人も無御座候
一石切稼ニ罷出旅先ニ而石切弟子等召抱
不申候猶又旅先実躰ニ相廻り可申候様具ニ
申聞候処一々承知仕候若此上ニも不吟味成儀
有之候而後日御聞被成候ハヽ其元ゟ早速
御注進可被成候其上如何様之御咎筋
被 仰付候共少も御恨無御座候為後日

差し上げ申す一札の事
一、当村の石切の件について、村中で取り調べて書き上げいたしましたところ、この他に一人もございません。
一、石切稼業に出かけた旅先において、石切の弟子等を抱え込むことはいたしません。なお、また旅先の実情についてよく見回り申すよう、詳しく申し聞かせましたところ、一々承知いたしました。もしこの上にも不注意な事柄がございまして、後日お聞きになられましたら、そちらから早速にご注進くださいますよう。その上でどのようなお咎めを仰せつけられましても、少しもお恨み申し上げることはございません。後日のため連印の証文、よって件の如し。

Item 1: Regarding the stonemasons of our village, we have investigated throughout the village and compiled a list, and there is not one other person besides these.
Item 2: When going out to work as stonemasons in other places, they shall not take on stonemason apprentices while traveling. Furthermore, we have instructed them in detail to carefully observe the actual conditions at their travel destinations, and they have acknowledged each point. If there should be any negligent matters beyond this point, and you should hear of them later, please report immediately from your end. Moreover, whatever punishment may be imposed upon us, we harbor no resentment whatsoever. This joint-signature document is for future reference. Therefore, as stated above.
