一当村石切之儀詮詮【衍字】儀仕候処今年
書上之外壱人も無御座候若御帳面ニ
除キ隠置其元御注進被成候て何様之
御咎被 仰付候共少も御恨申間敷候

現代語訳
差し上げ申し上げます一札の件について
一、当村の石切りの件について詳しく調査いたしましたところ、今年の書き上げ以外に一人もおりません。もし帳面から除いて隠しておき、そちら様がご注進なされて、どのようなお咎めを仰せ付けられましても、少しもお恨み申し上げることはございません。

Regarding the written pledge we respectfully submit:
Item: Concerning the matter of stone cutters in our village, we have thoroughly investigated and found that there is not a single person other than those listed in this year's registry. Should we have omitted or concealed anyone from the records, and should you report this matter resulting in any punishment being imposed upon us, we shall harbor no resentment whatsoever.
