吟味いたし候間右様に可相心得候事
一くしかうかい髪さしの類金は勿論不相成鼈甲も

但髷結に縮緬之色切をこしらへ又は女子用

はきもの鼻緒等高直之品売買致間敷事
右之趣享保寬政之度幷其後も相触候趣も有之候所
累年世上花美に相成銘々身分をも不弁立派を競ひ
且亦外見は不目立様に而も内実高金なる品々猥りに
売買いたし候もの共も有之由に候たとへもてあそひの品々
無之に候ても度々触示置候儀を当坐之事之様相心得候より
畢竟等閑に成行法度に背候段不届之至に候併是迄之
儀は格別之
御宥免を以先御咎之不被及
御沙汰候条難有奉存今般厚き
御主意を以風俗改候様被仰出候儀に付不軽相心得可申候
尤是迄仕込置候品も可有之候に付来寅年ゟ急度

吟味いたしますので、このように心得るべきことです
一、櫛・笄・髪挿しの類で金はもちろんのこと鼈甲も相成らず、細工人仲間の高価な品は止めること。櫛は代銀百目を限度とし、笄・髪挿しもこれに準じて安価に仕込むべきこと
ただし髷結びに縮緬の色切れを拵え、また女子が用いる
履物の鼻緒等の高価な品の売買をしてはならないこと
右の趣旨は享保・寛政の度並びにその後も相触れた趣旨もございましたところ、年を重ねて世上が華美になり、めいめいが身分もわきまえず立派さを競い、かつまた外見は目立たないようでも内実は高価な品々をみだりに売買する者どもも有る由です。たとえ玩具の品々が無くても、度々触れ示し置いた儀を当座のことのように心得るより、結局等閑になり法度に背く段は不届きの至りです。しかし、これまでのことは格別の御宥免をもって先ず御咎めに及ばず御沙汰候条ありがたく存じ奉り、今般厚き御主意をもって風俗改めるよう仰せ出された儀につき、軽く心得るべきではありません。もっとも、これまで仕込み置いた品もあるでしょうから、来る寅年より急度
