その旨を御郡代のところへ願い出るよう申し付けるべきです。この書状を先々へ急ぎで順次伝達し、組ごとの請書を取り揃えて来る正月八日までに提出すべきです。以上
右の趣旨について御触れが出されましたので、逐一申し聞かせたところ、畏れ多いことと申し出ましたので、御請書を差し上げます。以上

申し上げ覚書
町や郷の者が駕籠で往来することについて天明年間に御取り締まりがあったにもかかわらず、近年みだりに横行するようになったため、なお又この度御取り締まりが仰せ付けられました。これに付き、与村々に漏れることのないよう触れ知らせ、御趣意を畏れ多いこととして請書を取り揃えて提出するよう仰せ付けられ、畏れ多いこととして与村々に触れましたところ、別紙の通り御請書を提出いたしましたので、取り揃えて差し上げます。以上

Accordingly, we were instructed to notify the associated villages without omission, to humbly acknowledge the official intent, and to compile and submit written acknowledgments. Having humbly notified the associated villages, written acknowledgments were submitted as shown in the separate document, which we hereby compile and present. The above.
