御趣意に而誠に有難時節候所一己之迷より
違犯之罪科に陥り候もの共も有之候而は其
節に至後悔致候而も詮なく不便之儀
に付兼而偸にし候是迄之停止此度ゟ
停止之金銀共速に触書に応し銘々持囲
候員数有之体書出者は自己之冥加
弁候触渡相守奇特之段可被賞若世上
通用之儀理を不顧一己私情之迷を不悟
有候儘不書出世上猶隠置候はゝ取上之上
厳布咎可申付候此旨能々相心得違犯致
間布候右之趣諸国御代官所御預所諸
奉行所私領は国主領主地頭ゟ不洩様
為触知停止之金銀所持之有無吟味
致所持之者は為書出御勘定所へ右付書
可指出候引替遣し方之儀は御勘定奉行
所可申達候右持隠候はゝ吟味不行届等
現代語訳
御趣意であって、誠にありがたい時節であるところ、一個人の迷いから
違犯の罪科に陥る者どもがあっては、その
時節に至って後悔したところで詮なく、不便な儀である
ことについて、かねてから申し上げているのである。これまでの停止貨幣と、この度からの
停止金銀とも、速やかに触書に応じて、銘々が囲い込んでいる
数量を実際の通りに書き出す者は、自己の冥加を
弁える触れ渡しを守る奇特な行いとして賞されるであろう。もし世上での
通用の儀の理を顧みず、一個人の私情の迷いを悟らず
そのまま書き出さずに、世上から猶も隠し置くならば、取り上げの上、
厳しく咎めを申し付けるものである。この旨をよくよく心得て、違犯することの
ないようにせよ。右の趣旨を、諸国の御代官所・御預所・諸
奉行所、私領は国主・領主・地頭から漏れのないよう
触れ知らしめ、停止金銀所持の有無を吟味し、
所持する者には書き出させて、御勘定所へ右の書付を
差し出させるべきである。引き替え遣り方の儀は、御勘定奉行
所が申し達すべきである。右を隠し持つならば、吟味が行き届かない等の

御趣意 (government policy), and it is truly a grateful time. However, if there are those who fall into
criminal violations due to individual delusion,
even if they regret it when that time comes, it would be pointless and troublesome,
