之節自今は寺社奉行一判之方状持参
御料私領寺社領在町一致巡行候
公儀御免之勧化には無之相對次第之
事に候間御免勧化に不紛様可致旨
御料は御代官私領は領主地頭ゟ兼而
可申聞置候右之通明和三戌年相触
置候所年暦相立御免勧化は其度に
触有之相対勧化は寺社奉行一判之
印状を持参紛敷者には無之候間其段
可相心得候

諸国の寺社修復のための助成として、相対勧化巡行の際は、今後は寺社奉行一判の方状を持参し、御料・私領・寺社領・在町を一致して巡行する。
公儀お許しの勧化ではなく相対次第の事であるので、お許し勧化と紛らわしくないよう致すべき旨、
御料は御代官、私領は領主・地頭から兼ねて申し聞かせ置くべきである。右の通り明和三戌年に触れ置いたところ、年暦相立ち、お許し勧化はその度に触れがあり、相対勧化は寺社奉行一判の印状を持参するので、紛らわしい者はいないので、その段を心得るべきである。

Memorandum of Completion Receipt Document

To the Great Inspector:
Regarding mutual fundraising tours for assistance in repairing temples and shrines throughout the provinces, from now on, one must carry a letter of authorization with the single seal of the Temples and Shrines Magistrate and tour uniformly through shogunal lands, private domains, temple and shrine lands, and local towns.
Since this is a matter of mutual arrangement and not officially licensed fundraising by the shogunate, care must be taken to avoid confusion with licensed fundraising. For shogunal lands, the deputy magistrate, and for private domains, the domain lord or local magistrate should be informed beforehand. As was proclaimed in the third year of Meiwa, year of the dog, years have passed, and licensed fundraising has notices issued each time, while mutual fundraising carries seal documents with single seals from the Temples and Shrines Magistrate, so there are no confusing cases, and this point should be understood.
