一市郷之者共朱紋挑灯幷朱にて印書入
相用候義向後御差留被仰付御中にも由緒
有之朱紋印等相用来候者且御用に付
御免被仰付候分は取調御触達被仰付奉畏
組村浦重々取調候得とも朱紋印等由緒
を以相用来候者又は御用に付御免被仰付
候者も無御座候旨申出候に付右之段書付を以て
御答奉申上候以上

追放人お取り調べのご趣意と村々に触れ回し、お請書を
取り揃えて指し上げるよう仰せ付けられ畏れ奉り、取り揃えて指し上げ奉ります。以上

一、市郷の者どもが朱紋提灯並びに朱にて印書を入れて
使用する件について、今後お差し止めを仰せ付けられましたが、その中でも由緒
ある朱紋印等を使用してきた者、且つお役に付き
お許しを仰せ付けられた分については取り調べてお触れ達しを仰せ付けられ畏れ奉り、
組村浦を重々取り調べましたが、朱紋印等を由緒
をもって使用してきた者又はお役に付きお許しを仰せ付けられた
者もございません旨申し出ましたので、右の段を書付をもって
お答え申し上げ奉ります。以上

Item: Regarding the matter of townspeople using red-crested lanterns and printed markings in red ink,
future use has been prohibited by order. However, among these, those who have used red crests and seals
based on lineage rights, as well as those who have been granted permission for official use,
were to be investigated and reported by official proclamation. We humbly complied and
thoroughly investigated the villages and coastal settlements in our group. However, there are no persons who have used red crests and seals
based on lineage rights, nor any who have been granted permission for official use.
This was reported to us, and we respectfully submit our response regarding this matter in writing. The above.
