今月十三日江戸お城において年号を弘化と改元する趣旨が仰せ出されました旨、身分を問わず誰でも触れ知らせるべきです。もっとも組ごとに請書を取りまとめて差し出すよう仰せ付けられました。恐れ多く承り、早速関連村に触れましたところ、お触れの御趣旨を恐れ多く承る旨の御請書を差し出しましたので、取り揃えて差し上げます。以上

Memorandum submitted with an accompanying letter
On the 13th of this month, at Edo Castle, it was announced that the era name would be changed to Kōka. This is to be made known to everyone regardless of status. Moreover, we have been ordered to collect acknowledgment letters by group and submit them. We humbly accept this order and immediately notified the associated villages. As they have submitted written acknowledgments expressing their humble acceptance of the intent of the notification, we have compiled them and submit them herewith. The above.
