高野山大塔焼失に付公儀より御寄附之
当も有之当申年ゟ来る戌年迄三ヶ年之間
諸国取集勧化被仰付候依之御府内
武家方万石以上以下且在町其外御料
私領共志之輩者物の多少によらす可致
寄進候尤古義真言宗之寺院は高野山に而
触達取集候筈に付相除其余御料者御代官
奉行有之処者其奉行支配有之向々者
其支配私領者領主地頭寺社領之向に
寄御代官領主地頭者勧物取集向により
来戌十一月迄久世出雲守方江可指出旨去申
年七月相触置候処此以後取集候分ハ脇坂
淡路守方へ可指出候以上

大目付へ
高野山大塔焼失につき公儀より御寄附の当てもこれ有り、当申年より来る戌年まで三ヶ年の間、諸国取り集め勧化を仰せ付けられ候。これにより御府内武家方万石以上以下、かつ在町その外御料私領共、志の輩は物の多少によらず寄進致すべく候。もっとも古義真言宗の寺院は高野山にて触れ達し取り集め候筈につき相除き、その余御料は御代官奉行これ有る処はその奉行支配これ有る向々はその支配、私領は領主地頭、寺社領の向に寄り、御代官領主地頭は勧物取り集めの向により、来る戌十一月まで久世出雲守方へ指し出すべき旨、去る申年七月に相触れ置き候処、この以後取り集め候分は脇坂淡路守方へ指し出すべく候。以上

To the Great Inspector
Regarding the burning of the Great Pagoda at Mount Kōya, the government has expectations of donations, and from this current Monkey year until the coming Dog year, for a period of three years, collection and solicitation activities have been ordered throughout the various provinces. Accordingly, within the government territory, warrior households of ten thousand koku and above as well as below, and also town residents and others in both government and private domains, those with the inclination should make donations regardless of the amount. However, temples of the Orthodox Shingon sect are to be excluded since Mount Kōya will directly communicate with and collect from them. For the remainder, government lands with magistrates should go through those magistrates, areas under their jurisdiction should go through their administrators, private domains should go through domain lords and land stewards, and temple and shrine lands should similarly go through their respective administrators or land stewards for collection. The donations collected should be submitted to Kuze Izumo-no-kami by the eleventh month of the coming Dog year, as communicated in the seventh month of last Monkey year. However, donations collected hereafter should be submitted to Wakisaka Awaji-no-kami. The above.
