御山下於処々鶏合令流行格別相耽候者も有之哉に
相聞畢竟相募候時は第一農業に怠り候而已ならす
一時之調子に乗し鶏売買等に金銭を費如何之事に候
依而鶏蹴合令勝負候義は屹と指留候条其方共与
村浦不洩様為触知万一相背候者有之候はゝ咎可申付候条
右様相心得当月廿日迄に組切請書取揃御郡代所へ

御山下の諸所において鶏合わせが流行し、格別に耽っている者もいるようだと
聞いております。つまるところ、これが募る時は第一に農業を怠るばかりでなく、
一時の調子に乗って鶏の売買などに金銭を費やすのはいかがなものでございます。
よって鶏蹴合わせ勝負をすることはきっぱりと差し止めますので、そちらども与
村浦に漏れのないよう触れ知らせ、万一背く者がいれば咎めを申し付けますので、
右様に心得て当月二十日までに組切請書を取り揃え郡代所へ
指し出すこととします。以上

組切受書を取り揃えて指し出すよう仰せ付けられ、早速与村に触れましたところ、畏れ奉る旨の
御請書を指し出しましたので、取り揃えて添書仕り奉り指し上げます。以上

Memorandum of completed written acknowledgment
It is heard that cockfighting has become popular in various places at the foot of the sacred mountain, with some people becoming particularly absorbed in it.
In the end, when this spreads, not only do people neglect agriculture first and foremost, but
they also get carried away momentarily and spend money on buying and selling roosters, which is problematic.
Therefore, cockfighting competitions are strictly prohibited. You must ensure that all villages and coastal settlements in your group
are informed without exception, and if anyone disobeys, punishment will be administered.
With this understanding, gather the group's written acknowledgments and submit them to the district magistrate's office
by the 20th of this month. That is all.
