盆中の踊りの件について、来る十四日から十六日まで従来の
通り行うことができます。もっとも、その村限りにおいて他郷へ出ることはきっぱりと差し止め、
にわかと称して歌舞伎役者のような体裁に似寄った仕方は決して
調えてはならないことです。この右三日を過ぎて催すことは厳重に差し止めますので、
右受書控えに取りましたので、この段をここに記し、早々に差し上げ申します。

Regarding dancing during the Bon festival, from the coming 14th to 16th day, it may be performed as
customary. However, going out to other districts beyond that village is strictly prohibited,
and performances called "niwaka" that resemble the style of kabuki actors are absolutely
forbidden to be arranged. Holding such events beyond these three days is strictly prohibited,
so as this has been recorded in the written acknowledgment records, we note this matter and submit it promptly.
