昨七月未曽有之風雨に而南北郡々潰家多
有之住居難相調候者数多之事に而一牧
困窮に相及全難渋之事に候得共諸商人
売買向幷に諸職人賃金等之儀不都合
に付昨巳年御取究被遊候に付追々相改候趣に
候得共尚又此上不実不心得之者無之様組村々
相触組切請書取揃差出候様被仰付奉畏早速
相触候処夫々承知仕御請書差出候様【右に「付」】取揃
添書仕奉指上候以上

申し上げ添書の覚
昨年七月の未曾有の風雨により、南北の郡々で潰れた家が多く
あり、住居の調達が困難な者が数多くいることで、一般的に
困窮に及び、全く難渋している状況でありますが、諸商人の
売買関係並びに諸職人の賃金等の件について不都合が
あったため、昨年巳年にご決定されたことにつき、追々改善している様子で
ありますが、なお一層この上で不正や心得違いの者がないよう組村々に
触れ知らせ、組切請書を取り揃えて差し出すよう仰せ付けられ、恐れ入り早速
触れ知らせましたところ、それぞれ承知いたし御請書を差し出しましたので、取り揃え
添書いたして差し上げます。以上

Memorandum of Supplementary Report
Due to the unprecedented wind and rain of last July, many houses collapsed in the northern and southern districts,
and there are numerous people who have difficulty securing housing, resulting in general
impoverishment and complete hardship. However, regarding improprieties concerning
various merchants' buying and selling activities as well as wages of various craftsmen,
since decisions were made last year in the Mi year, improvements have been gradually implemented.
Nevertheless, to ensure there are no dishonest or misguided individuals, we were ordered to notify the village groups
and collect and submit group acknowledgment receipts. Humbly [complying], we immediately
issued notifications, whereupon each [village] acknowledged and submitted acknowledgment letters, so we have collected them
and respectfully present them with this supplementary letter. The above.
