盆中踊之義来る十四日より十六日迄有来踊之義は
是迄之通可仕尤其村限他郷へ出候義は屹と指留
俄と相唱哥舞体に似寄候義は難相調旨毎年
盆前必触達に相及候得共毎々不心得者有之右
究向相猥候懸別而不都合之事に候依而は已後
不心得者無之様村内人別無分手許へ召呼逸々
懇に申聞承知之上夫々受判為致村役人之義も
不都合無之様取究可【左字抹消】申右の趣与村浦不洩様
触知組切右受判取究来る廿日迄に御郡代処へ
可指出旨【左字抹消】被仰付奉畏早速御触之委曲逸々相触候処
別紙之通奉畏組村役人共ゟ御受書差出候に付取揃

申し上げ覚
盆中踊りの件について、来る十四日より十六日まで従来の踊りについては
これまでの通り行ってよろしい。もっともその村限りで他郷へ出ることは固く禁止する。
俄かに唱え歌舞の体に似寄ったことは調えることが難しい旨、毎年
盆前に必ず触れ達しに及んでいるが、度々心得違いの者がおり、右の
究めが疎かになっている。これは別して不都合なことである。よって今後は
心得違いの者がないよう村内の人別を問わず手許へ召し寄せ、一人一人
懇切に申し聞かせ承知の上でそれぞれ受判を行い、村役人についても
不都合がないよう取り究めるべきである。右の趣旨を与村浦に漏れなく
触れ知らせ、組切で右の受判を取り究め、来る二十日までに御郡代処へ
差し出すべき旨仰せ付けられ、畏れ多く承り、早速御触れの詳細を一人一人に触れ知らせましたところ、
別紙の通り畏れ多く承り、組村役人どもより御受書を差し出しましたので取り揃え
差し上げます。以上

Report for Submission
Regarding the matter of Bon festival dancing, from the coming 14th to the 16th day, traditional dancing
may be performed as before. However, going beyond one's own village to other districts is strictly prohibited.
Sudden singing and dancing resembling theatrical performances are difficult to regulate, and every year
we issue notifications before the Bon festival, but repeatedly there are those who do not understand properly, and the
enforcement of these rules becomes lax. This is particularly problematic. Therefore, henceforth,
to ensure there are no violators, all people in the village regardless of status should be summoned and individually
given thorough instruction, and after they understand, each should provide written acknowledgment. Village officials should also
be thoroughly investigated to ensure there are no improprieties. This directive should be communicated without exception to all villages and settlements,
group-level written acknowledgments should be collected, and submitted to the district magistrate's office by the coming 20th day.
Having humbly received these orders, we promptly communicated the details of the official notice to each individual, whereupon
as shown in the separate document, humbly complying, the group village officials submitted acknowledgment letters, which we have collected and
respectfully present herewith. The above.
