ございましたので、これにより御家中の諸士並びに召し使いの下々に至るまで厳重に
吟味を遂げ、該当の有無を書面で申し出るべきです。もっとも御書の通りの者がおりましたら
その場に留め置き早速申し出るべきです。相触れましたので郷中で吟味を遂げ、
もっとも御国境・川口等はいよいよ念入りに改めるべき旨を御番人共へ
申し付けるべき旨、かつまた該当なしの件は来月五日に信濃宅へ
申し出るべきです。以上

This time
regarding the matter of a wanted person from the government authorities, notification has been given through an official document as attached separately.
Accordingly, from retainers of various ranks in the household to the lowest servants, strict
investigation must be conducted and the presence or absence [of the wanted person] must be reported in writing. Should there be a person matching the description in the official document,
they should be detained on the spot and reported immediately. As this has been announced, investigation should be conducted throughout the district.
Furthermore, particular care should be taken in inspecting provincial borders, river mouths, etc., and this should be
ordered to the guard personnel. Additionally, if there is no [sighting], this should be
reported to Shinano's residence on the fifth day of next month. The above.
