仕上御請書之覚
降雨打続出水之節御見分として御馬役南北へ馬々御出郷之節
郷分ゟ市中へ罷越候馬居崎戸口等に長縄に而繋置不申先追等
先達而御触之通取究候様被仰付候
委曲御触書之義は御触写帳に相記有之
申六月廿六日
右之通御触被遊候条村中不洩様相触不心得之義無之様
屹と取究可申旨被仰付奉畏早速相触候所奉畏旨申出候に付
私共連判を以御請書指上申候以上

仕上げ御請書の覚え
降雨が打ち続き出水の際、御見分として御馬役が南北へ馬で御出郷される際、
郷分から市中へ参り越す馬を居崎戸口等に長縄で繋ぎ置かず、先追等も
先達って御触れの通り取り決めるよう仰せ付けられた。

申六月二十六日
右の通り御触れになったので、村中漏れなく相触れ、不心得の義がないよう
きっと取り決めるべき旨仰せ付けられ、畏れ多く早速相触れしたところ、畏れ多き旨申し出たので、
私共連判をもって御請書を指し上げ申す。以上

Memorandum of Completion Receipt
When there are continuous heavy rains and flooding, for inspection purposes when mounted officials (umaeki) travel north and south on horseback to the countryside, horses coming from the rural areas to the town should not be tied with long ropes at places like Izaki gate entrance, and arrangements for advance guards should be made as previously proclaimed in the official notice.

As the above proclamation was issued, we were ordered to ensure that it reaches everyone in the village without omission and that there be no misunderstandings, and to strictly implement these measures. We respectfully and immediately circulated the notice, and as [the villagers] expressed their compliance, we submit this receipt with our joint signatures. That is all.
