仕上御請書之覚
大目付江
世上通用金慶長已来度々吹替えに付而は自然
金位古今異同有之之儀は勿論之事に候間兼而悉
最上位之位に吹改之御趣意も有之候得共不容易儀に付
此度慶長金位之通新規判金吹立壱枚に付金
五両通用之積被仰付候間銀銭とも両替小判壱歩判
二朱金同様之割合に相心得無滞可致通用候
一右五両判吹立幷小判壱歩判をも位を上吹立被仰付
右に就ては金子之員数も相減候間世上融通金相増
候ため小判壱歩判をも壱両に付五分目方を減吹替
被仰付候条両替是迄之通相心得無滞可致通用候
尤引替日限等之儀は追而可及沙汰候
一弐朱金通用方之儀は是迄之通相心得且弐歩判
之儀も壱朱金同様追而通用停止可被仰付候間
兼而其旨可相心得候右之趣国々江可触知者也

大目付江
世上で通用している金は慶長以来度々吹き替えが行われているため、自然と金の品位が古今で異なることは当然のことであり、かねてよりすべて最上位の品位に吹き改める御趣意もあったが、容易でない事情により、この度慶長金の品位の通り新規に判金を吹き立て、一枚につき金五両として通用することが仰せ付けられた。銀銭とも両替の際は小判一分判・二朱金と同様の割合で心得、滞りなく通用させること。
一、右の五両判の吹き立て並びに小判一分判も品位を上げて吹き立てることが仰せ付けられた。これについては金子の員数も相減するため、世上の融通金を相増させるため、小判一分判も一両につき五分の目方を減らして吹き替えることが仰せ付けられた。両替はこれまでの通り心得、滞りなく通用させること。もっとも引き替え日限等の件は追って沙汰に及ぶ。
一、二朱金通用方の件はこれまでの通り心得、かつ二分判の件も一朱金同様、追って通用停止が仰せ付けられるため、かねてよりその旨を心得ておくこと。右の趣旨を国々へ触れ知らせるものである。

The gold currency in circulation has undergone repeated reminting since the Keichō era, so naturally the quality of gold varies between old and new coins, which is a matter of course. There has long been an intention to remint all coins to the highest quality standard, but due to the difficulty of such an undertaking, it has now been ordered that new hanshin (rectangular gold coins) be minted according to the quality standard of Keichō gold, with each piece to circulate as five ryō in value. For currency exchange with silver and copper coins, one should understand the same proportional rates as with koban ichibus and nishūkin, and ensure smooth circulation.
1. It has been ordered that the aforementioned five-ryō hanshin be minted, and that koban ichibus also be minted with improved quality. Regarding this matter, since the total amount of gold will be reduced, in order to increase the circulating money for public convenience, it has been ordered that koban ichibus also be reminted with a weight reduction of five bu per ryō. Currency exchange should be conducted as before, ensuring smooth circulation. The deadline for exchange and other details will be announced later.
1. Regarding the circulation of nishūkin, this should be understood as before. As for nibuban, like with ishūkin, their circulation will be discontinued in the future, so this should be understood in advance. The above matters are to be announced to all provinces.
