古金銀その他を所持している者は、来る亥年十月限りで急いで引き替えを申し出なければならない。
一、草字二歩判並びに文政度吹き直し二朱銀の義についても、追って通用
停止が仰せ付けられる旨、去る酉年に触れた趣旨もあるため、所持している者は
後藤三右衛門銀座役所並びに江戸・京・大坂その他在々において
当時引替御用を勤めている者の内へ早々指し出して引き替えを申し出なければならない。
右の趣旨を遠国末々まで良く心得るよう、御料は御代官、
私領は領主・地頭から入念に申し付けるべきである。

Those who possess old gold and silver coins and other such currency must urgently exchange them by the 10th month of the coming year of the Boar.
Item: Regarding grass-script two-bu coins and Bunsei-era recast two-shu silver coins, as there was also an announcement in the previous year of the Rooster that their circulation would eventually be discontinued, those who possess them must promptly present them to Gotō Sanemon's Silver Guild office, as well as to those currently handling exchange duties in Edo, Kyoto, Osaka, and other regions throughout the country for exchange.
So that this matter is thoroughly understood even in distant provinces, it should be carefully ordered by magistrates in shogunal territories and by domain lords and local lords in private domains.
