he frequently went up to Edo on official business.
One: In the 3rd month of Keian 3rd year (Year of the Tiger), he was summoned to Edo,
appointed as attendant to Lord Iwahiko, granted an additional 200 koku,
making his total stipend 550 koku.
One: In the 1st month of Jōō 3rd year (Year of the Horse), as requested,
he was relieved of his official duties and appointed to the Yoriai-gumi (Assembly Group).
One: In the 4th month of Kanbun 5th year (Year of the Snake), as requested,
his son Niemon was appointed as his substitute in guard duty.
One: On the 14th day of the 4th month of Kanbun 11th year (Year of the Boar),
he died of illness at age 77. Buddhist name: Zuishin'in Shaku Ikkei. Burial place: Ju
Eizen Jōkō-ji Temple
