英語訳

70 (A) Tatami mats and floor coverings should have carbolic acid water sprayed on their surfaces and edges, and should then be wiped with cloth pieces soaked in carbolic acid water or cresol water. (B) Doors and sliding screens should have carbolic acid water sprayed on them, and sliding paper doors should have their edges wiped with carbolic acid water or cresol water. For doors, sliding screens, and sliding paper doors, particular attention should be paid to handles, edges, and other parts that are constantly touched by hands, and they should be thoroughly disinfected. (C) Utensils at risk of pathogen contamination should be disinfected according to methods (A) and (B). (D) Even furniture deemed not to require disinfection should be carried outdoors together with disinfected fixtures, tatami mats, and other items and exposed to sunlight. However, storage areas should be separated from items carried out from rooms with no risk of pathogen contamination. (E) Next, walls, pillars, thresholds, wooden floors, etc., should be wiped with carbolic acid water or cresol water. However, this need not be performed on areas normally beyond the reach of hands. Furthermore, cloth pieces used for wiping should not be used while remaining dirty, but should be cleaned from time to time before use. 3. Rooms with high risk of pathogen contamination (for example, kitchens) (A) Doors, sliding screens, walls, pillars, thresholds, tatami mats, etc., should follow the methods of the previous section (A), (B), and (D). (B) Eating and drinking utensils should be subjected to boiling disinfection, and those unsuitable for such disinfection should be washed or wiped with carbolic acid water or cresol water. Utensils disinfected with carbolic acid water or cresol water should be washed with boiling water after drying. 71
