太守様、少将様におかれましては、ますます御機嫌よくお過ごしのこと、恐悦に存じ上げます。年始のお祝いとして、少将様へ目録の通り献上いたしたく、貴公様方までお手紙を差し上げます。誠に恐縮でございます。謹んで申し上げます。

The felicitations of the new year bring boundless joy and celebration.
We are delighted to learn that His Lordship the Taishū and His Lordship the Shōshō are in excellent health and spirits. As a New Year's celebration, we wish to present offerings to His Lordship the Shōshō as listed in the enclosed catalog, and we respectfully submit this humble letter to your honorable persons. With utmost reverence and humility, we respectfully state.
