　斧-鑿皆類＿二 中-国￣ニ＿一。惟〱鋸用￣テ＿二純-鉄￣ヲ＿一為￣ル＿レ之￣ヲ。形如＿レ刀￣ノ。下￣ニ着￣ケ＿レ柄￣ヲ。列￣テ＿二
　歯￣ヲ口-端￣ニ＿一為￣ス＿レ用￣ヲ。

現代語訳

団扇は竹を骨とする。繭紙を糊付けする。青いものもあれば白いものもある。金を散らして絵を描く。泥金五華というものがあり、玉団扇と名付ける。ただ王宮の中にのみこれがある。命婦が賜り物を受けて、初めてこれを用いることができる。

匠具
斧や鑿は皆中国に類似している。ただ鋸は純鉄を用いてこれを作る。形は刀のようである。下に柄を着ける。歯を口の端に列ねて用をなす。

英語訳

Round fans use bamboo as the frame. Cocoon paper is pasted on them. Some are blue and some are white. Gold is sprinkled to make paintings. There are ones with mud-gold five-flower designs, called jade round fans. Only the royal palace has these. Court ladies who receive them as gifts can then use them for the first time.

Craftsmen's Tools
Axes and chisels are all similar to those in China. However, saws are made using pure iron. Their shape is like that of a sword. A handle is attached at the bottom. Teeth are arranged at the mouth end to function as a tool.
