に土居あてゝ取込様ニ取るへし
《割書：石弓ノ｜コト》【上段に朱書】
一 石弓の事山城に用る也土居の腹に大木を横たへてつり縄木の
大小によりて三所も五所も塀の下へ釣て右の木の上によきころ
の石を多くのせ置て敵堀へ付て乗んとする時つり縄を
一度に切落す木と石と一度に落す故に人多く死る也
焼殺【上段に朱書】
一 人多く焼殺す事城攻て人数つかへ定らんと思ふ所にする事也城中
より程遠くすへし三十間或廿間計ニ拵へしまつ多く集て先つかへ
乗かねんと思ふ所ニ二所ニも三所にも一二間深サ四尺計小穴をほり鉄
炮の薬多く入れ散して上ニ小材木竹なとにて簀の様にして其上
を小石を置て土をかけて落し穴の様ニ拵へ其穴へ城中ゟ竹を節を
抜て土の下一二尺にふせて火縄に鉄炮の薬を塗て右の穴へ通し候様ニ
拵て城より火を付候へは其火右の穴の薬にもへ付て焼上ケ土石飛ふ
なり人多くたまりたる足の下ゟ焼あくる故ニ多く死する也
一 城中の小屋薬屋とて塗屋ニするもの也
一 塀の際竹束つけ塀と竹束の間腰たけに堀をほり其中ニ居て塀の
土台の下をほりて夫ゟ鉄炮打つもの也わざと狭間ふたを開き外ゟ
狭間を閉てむた鉄炮打候様ニ致し候もの也竹束の後に土俵をつき上ケ
て武者走とする塀を乗て息きれたる所を土俵の武者走へ上り打ん
為也此時石つぶてよき也

一 塀の上に幕を張り候幕は矢鉄炮通り不申候其時は塀の内ニ土居
又は土俵又は塀のひかへニ床をかき武者走として防く也夜々忍
ひの為ニさる続松【ついまつ】又は投松明肝要也塀は一丈塀よき也覆は

一 城攻時も又軍かけ合の時も是程の事は誰もする事也と思ひて

《石弓のこと》
一 石弓の事は山城に用いる。土居の腹に大木を横たえて、吊り縄は木の大小によって三所も五所も塀の下へ吊って、右の木の上によい頃合いの石を多く乗せ置いて、敵が堀へ付いて乗ろうとする時に吊り縄を一度に切り落とす。木と石とを一度に落とす故に人が多く死ぬのである。
《焼殺》
一 人を多く焼き殺すこと。城攻めで人数が支えて定まろうと思う所にすることである。城中より程遠くすべし。三十間或いは二十間ほどに拵えて、まず多く集まって先に支えて乗りかねようと思う所に、二所にも三所にも一、二間、深さ四尺ほどの小穴を掘り、鉄砲の薬を多く入れ散らして、上に小材木や竹などにて簀のようにして、その上を小石を置いて土をかけて落とし穴のように拵える。その穴へ城中から竹を節を抜いて土の下一、二尺に伏せて、火縄に鉄砲の薬を塗って右の穴へ通すように拵えて、城より火を付ければその火が右の穴の薬に燃え付いて焼き上げ、土石が飛ぶなり。人が多く溜まった足の下から焼け上がる故に多く死するのである。
一 城中の小屋、薬屋とて塗り屋にするものである。
一 塀の際に竹束を付け、塀と竹束の間を腰丈に堀を掘り、その中に居て塀の土台の下を掘って、それから鉄砲を撃つものである。わざと狭間蓋を開き、外から狭間を閉てて無駄鉄砲を撃つようにいたすものである。竹束の後に土俵を突き上げて武者走とする。塀を乗って息切れした所を土俵の武者走へ上がり撃たんがためである。この時石つぶてがよい。
《塀の幕》
一 塀の上に幕を張る。幕は矢や鉄砲が通り申さず。その時は塀の内に土居又は土俵又は塀の控えに床を掻き、武者走として防ぐのである。夜々忍びのために猿続松又は投げ松明が肝要である。塀は一丈塀がよい。覆いは巻覆いにするのである。
一 城攻めの時も又軍駆け合いの時も、これ程のことは誰もすることであると思って

《Stone Catapults》
1. Stone catapults are used in mountain castles. Large trees are laid horizontally across the belly of earthworks, and suspension ropes - three to five locations depending on the size of the wood - are hung beneath the walls. 1. The method of burning many people to death: This is done at locations during castle attacks where troops are expected to get stuck and establish positions. It should be placed at a considerable distance from the castle - about thirty or twenty ken away. First, prepare at locations where many will gather and initially get stuck unable to advance. Dig small holes one or two ken wide and about four shaku deep at two or three locations, fill them with much gunpowder scattered about, cover the top with small timber and bamboo like a screen, place small stones on top and cover with earth to make it like a pitfall. From within the castle, insert bamboo with nodes removed, laying it one or two shaku under the earth, coat fire cord with gunpowder and arrange it to pass through the aforementioned holes. When fire is set from the castle, that fire ignites the gunpowder in the holes, causing an explosion that sends earth and stones flying. Since it burns up from beneath the feet where many people have gathered, many die.
