万事強過て名をとらぬ事多き也けいはく也と思ふ事後に高名
になる也何時も内の者ニも首数取らせ少の事も後ニに高名に
なるもの也城攻の時も昼夜心かけ一番に乗へしと思ふへし何様

甲前立物一鉄炮弓も二ツ巻か三ツ巻鑓同前第一跡ゟ鉄炮打
事禁制すへし味方打はおくれはせのものゝするわさ也

一 太閤の奉行衆と権現様と伏見に於て色々出入の時奉行方
大勢故各権現様御屋敷へ群集して此御屋敷所も悪しく殊
ニ無勢也とかく六条の一向門跡御頼ミ六条へ御ひらき候歟左無く
は大津の宰相殿御味方也大津の城へ被成御座可然之由被申候へは
現代語訳
万事強すぎて名を取らぬことが多い。軽薄だと思うことが後に高名になるのである。何時も内の者にも首数を取らせ、少しのことも後に高名になるものである。城攻めの時も昼夜心がけ、一番に乗るべしと思うべし。何様なる首も取れるほど取れば帳面もよし、子孫の代に印鑑になるものであると語り申された。
一 侍は常の心がけが肝要である。用心すれば物事に動転せず、うかとすれば地震や雷にも動転するものである。これを以て知れ。常に心がけ候えば必ず出会うことが多い。
《早着》
一 具足を早く着る様子。小手を着るように筒の甲はぜにかけて、その儘具足を着て小手を差して、片手にて差し方々の小手頭の上へ上げて手を差し入れる。上帯して刀を差し、その後小手をはめるのもよい。
《合印のこと》
一 味方討ちがないようにすること。刀の鞘に紙を幅二寸か三寸に切って、二つ巻きになろうとも三つ巻きになろうとも巻くべし。又は紐を両方の肩や脇髪に付けるのもよい。一つは合言葉、一つは槍印、何にても目立つように、一つは差物、一つは兜の前立物、一つは鉄砲や弓にも二つ巻きか三つ巻き、槍も同前。第一、後ろから鉄砲を撃つことは禁制すべし。味方討ちは後れ馳せの者のするわざである。
《備を固むる》
一 備を堅めるということは、一手々々丸くも備え、回らにならないように、それぞれの道具々々一所に居て、馬より下りて幟の際に居て、馬をば遥か脇へ、且つ又一所に置いて、まばらがけのないよう、能き備というと申された。

1.
