心得難い事ばかりが多い。この書並びに甲州の士が記した『武具要説』（高坂昌信著）、この二書を合わせてよくよく熟読すれば、古代戦場の有様もおおよそ察し得ることがあるだろう。我が子孫はよくよく心してみるべきのみ。

...there are many things that are difficult to understand. If one carefully studies this book together with the "Bugu Yōsetsu" (Essential Military Equipment) written by a retainer of Kai Province (authored by Kōsaka Masanobu), by combining these two books and studying them thoroughly, one should be able to roughly understand the conditions of ancient battlefields. My descendants should study them with great care.
