思ふとかたり被申候由
一 浄真三郎様の御前にて色ゝ武者物語致され候時名は忘れ候
浄真手柄なる場は何程か有つると御尋之時別に覚は無御座候
鑓と存候場は十二度御座候其内八度はぬし壱人の鑓又はさし
引にて大勢の人たすけ候由とこ〳〵にてと場を引き語り被申
候時杉浦八郎五其座にて高橋縄手ニて馬上ニ而敵三騎合つ
きをとし玉ふは今の物語ニ是無く夫も十二度の内かと尋候へは
いや〳〵左様の少の事は幾度も有へし程に申上候はぬと被申候由
一 城際の軍はせぬもの也と昔から云伝へたる誠にて候安城にて
城際の軍してつけ入にとりぬと語り被申候也

一 同時信長ゟ御使ニ福富平左衛門福島平八衛門被参家康はいづくニと尋玉へは
鳥居四郎左出向ひ何の御用に候と被申候は軍仕様御諚之通り可申
渡候由被申候時四郎左先手仕候家康勢御旗本ゟ下知を受て
は不能成候仕そこなひ候とても一身の負惣負ニは到ましく候
現代語訳
思うと語り申されたという。
一 浄真三郎様の御前にて色々武者物語をされた時、名前は忘れたが、「浄真殿、手柄のある場はどの程度あるか」とお尋ねになった時、「特に覚えはございません。槍と思う場は十二度ございます。その内八度は主人一人の槍、または差し引きにて大勢の人を助けました」と、とこどころでその場を引いて語り申された時、杉浦八郎五郎がその座にて「高橋縄手にて馬上にて敵三騎合い突きを落とされたのは今の物語にはないが、それも十二度の内か」と尋ねたところ、「いやいや、そのような少しの事は幾度もあるでしょうから申し上げません」と申されたという。
一 城際の軍はしないものだと昔から言い伝えられているのは誠である。安城にて城際の軍をして付け入り、取られたと語り申されている。

一 姉川の時、左衛門尉が一番、榊原式部が二番の備えであった。しかし姉川の向こうの岸が高く、馬の乗り上げ場が悪いため、左衛門尉殿が少し回ってかかった時、二番手の式部殿が道を変えずにかかり、先手と二の手の両手からかかったので、朝倉勢は早く崩れたという。皆の物語である。
一 同じ時、信長から御使いとして福富平左衛門、福島平八郎が参り、「家康はどこにいるか」と尋ねられた時、鳥居四郎左衛門が出向かい、「何の御用でしょうか」と申したところ、「軍の仕様について御諚の通りに申し渡すことがある」と申された時、四郎左衛門は「先手を仕りますが、家康の勢は御旗本から下知を受けては能くなりません。仕損じても一身の負けで、総負けには至りますまい」と
