〽（婆さん）「やれやれ、お疲れでいらっしゃるでしょう。この通りの田舎で、その上夜更けですから、何もお出しするものはございませんよ。ご馳走は明日のこと、夜が明けるまでにはまだ間もあります。まあまあお二人ともお休みなさいませ」と夜着と布団を取り出して、奥の一間へ入っていった。あとに二人は顔を見合わせ、
