一御旅宿にて宿札等剥取申候はゝ御本陣并其宿亭主御徒目付へ申付急度為致  吟味其上にて以後念を入大切に取扱可申旨御本陣并亭主へ一札申付右之様子前  後入 御聴候事   但御家老中江も申達尤仲間御家老中旅宿へ罷越候事 一欠落人有之候はゝ其支配又は主人ゟ口上書取入 御覧可申事尤御家老中へも相達  可申事 一御国江戸同役中へ申遣儀其外不時取扱之儀は其節之可依時宜事 一御旅宿にて諸事御触は此方ゟ組用人相触候事 一御泊宿にて御同宿之御大名方有之候得は相伺口上書御触指出下々不礼不仕候様にと  申達事 一御泊宿相違俄に御旅宿相替候得は其節御関札立替御役組に御番組之者指添  遣候事 一御供之侍中并御徒御供引申候得は其段御徒目付時々に相達候得は其段御泊にて申上候  事其外不慮之儀は相伺之上取扱可申事 一御道中にて御触差出候節は御家老中御中老中迄は御徒目付持参之申筈其外は  御持筒之者相触之   但口達之分は不残御持筒之者相触候筈 一御泊御昼休にて御供揃被仰出候得は御徒目付を以御小人江申付宿中為相触事   但御小休同断 一歩行御目付外と御小休之節々締吟味夫々口々江押申付差出候事 一右同断御徒頂戴物御礼御元合御本陣ゟ御立之節門外にて御披露可申上事 一御道中御目付御供壱人同駿馬御供壱人御徒目付弐人ツヽ 一同御先番御昼休改御目付壱人ツヽ御徒目付壱人ツヽ 一不依何事御小人を以附人遣之又は承りに遣候様被仰付候節御徒目付を以可申付事   但御用人江可申達事 一御道中御供之御目付野袴羽織着用歩行御供は白衣羽織着用御先番は常之着服也  

現代語訳

一、御旅宿にて宿札等を剥ぎ取る者がいる場合は、御本陣並びにその宿の亭主を御徒目付へ申し付け、急度吟味を致させ、その上で以後念を入れて大切に取り扱うべき旨を御本陣並びに亭主へ一札申し付け、右の様子を前後してご報告申し上げること   但し御家老中へも申し達すこと、もっとも仲間の御家老中が旅宿へ罷り越すこと 一、欠落人(逃亡者)がある場合は、その支配または主人より口上書を取り入れてご覧に入れること。もっとも御家老中へも相達すべきこと 一、御国・江戸の同役中へ申し遣わす儀、その外不時の取り扱いの儀は、その節の時宜によること 一、御旅宿にて諸事の御触れは、こちらより組用人が相触れること 一、御泊宿にて御同宿の御大名方がある場合は、相伺いの口上書・御触れを指し出し、下々が不礼をしないようにと申し達すこと 一、御泊宿が相違し俄かに御旅宿が相替わる場合は、その節御関札を立て替え、御役組に御番組の者を指し添え遣わすこと 一、御供の侍中並びに御徒の御供を引き申す場合は、その段を御徒目付が時々に相達し、その段を御泊にて申し上げること。その外不慮の儀は相伺いの上取り扱うべきこと 一、御道中にて御触れを差し出す節は、御家老中・御中老中までは御徒目付が持参申すはず、その外は御持筒の者が相触れること   但し口達の分は残らず御持筒の者が相触れるはず 一、御泊・御昼休にて御供揃えを仰せ出される場合は、御徒目付を以て御小人へ申し付け、宿中へ相触れさせること   但し御小休も同断 一、歩行御目付以外と御小休の節々、締め吟味をそれぞれ口々へ押し申し付けて差し出すこと 一、右同断、御徒の頂戴物・御礼・御元合い、御本陣より御立ちの節、門外にて御披露申し上げること 一、御道中御目付御供一人、同じく駿馬御供一人、御徒目付二人ずつ 一、同じく御先番・御昼休改め、御目付一人ずつ、御徒目付一人ずつ 一、何事によらず御小人を以て附人を遣わし、または承りに遣わすよう仰せ付けられる節は、御徒目付を以て申し付けること   但し御用人へ申し達すべきこと 一、御道中御供の御目付は野袴・羽織着用、歩行御供は白衣・羽織着用、御先番は常の着服である

英語訳

Article 1: If someone tears off lodging placards at travel lodgings, assign the main camp and the inn proprietor to foot inspectors, conduct strict investigation, and thereafter instruct the main camp and proprietor with a written pledge to handle matters carefully with due attention, reporting the circumstances before and after.   However, also report to senior councilors, and naturally fellow senior councilors shall proceed to the travel lodging. Article 1: If there are deserters, obtain written statements from their supervisors or masters and present them for inspection. Naturally, also inform senior councilors. Article 1: Matters to be communicated to colleagues in the domain and Edo, and other emergency handling matters shall depend on the circumstances at the time. Article 1: All announcements at travel lodgings shall be made by unit administrators from our side. Article 1: When there are daimyo staying at the same lodging, submit consultation documents and announcements, and ensure that lower ranks commit no rudeness. Article 1: If lodging arrangements change and travel lodging is suddenly altered, at that time replace the checkpoint placards and dispatch guard unit members attached to the duty unit. Article 1: Same as above, for foot soldiers' gifts received, thanks, and reunions, when departing from the main camp, make announcements outside the gate. Article 1: For travel: one inspector escort, one mounted escort, two foot inspectors each. Article 1: Same for advance guard and midday rest inspections: one inspector each, one foot inspector each. Article 1: Regardless of the matter, when ordered to dispatch attendants through servants or send them for inquiries, assign through foot inspectors.   However, must inform administrators. Article 1: During travel, escort inspectors wear field hakama and haori, walking escorts wear white garments and haori, advance guards wear regular clothing.
