一、安永四年未年三月、江州山之内にて大雪のため御通行が困難となったことにより、御道筋に御支障がないよう取り計らいを見分するため、御用として御目付加藤半左衛門、御徒目付渡辺門左衛門が罷り越し、柳ヶ瀬まで見分した。郡奉行並びに酒井修理太夫殿の御家来酒井三之丞と申し談じ、御替道として敦賀より御廻り道を取り、柳ヶ瀬宿へ御出でになり、それより御常道を無滞にて御定日に御発駕された件

Article 1: In the third month of An'ei 4 (1775), Year of the Sheep, due to heavy snow in Yamanouchi, Omi Province, making passage difficult, Inspector Kato Hanzaemon and Foot Inspector Watanabe Monzaemon were dispatched on official business to survey and make arrangements so that there would be no obstruction to the travel route, conducting inspection up to Yanagase. After consultation with the District Magistrate and Sakai Sannojo, a retainer of Lord Sakai Shuri-no-Taifu, an alternate route was arranged via Tsuruga, proceeding to Yanagase post station, and from there continuing on the regular route without delay, departing on the scheduled day.
