現代語訳
もし大和守様のお立ちの時間に差し合わせがあるならば、あちらのお供の内へお断りをして、指図次第で御先へ通るべきである。もっともお立ち以前であれば、御幕前で無礼のないようにし、もっとも持道具を伏せて通るべきである。また非番で御先へ通る向きで大和守様にお出会いするならば、見合わせて無礼のないよう御跡から通り、御駕籠がお立ちになった所でお供の面々にお断りして指図次第で御先へ通るべきである。十分に無礼のないよう相慎み、なお又面々の家来どもへも右の趣旨をきっと申し聞かせるべきである。以上

If there should be a timing conflict with Lord Yamato-no-kami's departure, request permission from his retinue and proceed ahead according to their instructions. If it is before his departure, behave respectfully in front of his curtained area, and especially lower your equipment when passing. Also, if those proceeding ahead while off-duty should encounter Lord Yamato-no-kami, wait respectfully and pass from behind without discourtesy, then at the place where his palanquin departs, request permission from his retinue and proceed ahead according to their instructions. Exercise great care to avoid any discourtesy, and be sure to inform your respective retainers of these instructions as well. The above.
