以下之儀は目付中ゟ断にて可相通事
一御足軽以下近所之湯へ入候節木札にて出し可申事
一御家中召仕之下々紙札にても木札にても脇指さし不申者堅出申間敷事
一御家中召仕之者口上断にて出申間敷候惣て女中手形無之者一切通し申間敷事
尤小女にても同前之事
一御出居番以下小身之召仕之下女町へ之小使木札にて出し可申事
一諸職人日用御用にて御屋敷へ罷越候節は無札にて出入為仕昼休に出候節は木札
にて出可申事何にても持出候者出し申間敷職人道具は格別之事
一夜中御家中へ他所ゟ用事有之見廻候歟使指越候節は御門に指置口上にて
取次可申候無據儀候はゝ目付中ゟ断之上にて可相通右之者罷帰候節は其宿主
ゟ送り之者点し指添断を受可相通事
但御留守居中方へ之使之儀は前々之通可相通事
一昼夜共に御徒以下之面々仮令急御用と申罷出候者有之候共慥成證拠無之候はゝ

不審成様子候はゝ通し不申候て目付中へ断可申事

一御家中へ罷越候女中比丘尼瞽女座頭参候はゝ先を承届帳に記可通候右之者
共罷帰候節は手形にて可出候事
一夜中旅立之者有之候共断無之候は通し申間敷候惣て昼夜共に荷物有之者は
目付中ゟ断之上にて可相通事
一御出入之町人は奉行中ゟ相渡置候木札にて可相通事

一下々 牢（浪）人又は御国出之者御家中へ参由申候はゝ罷越候先承届可相通候若不審成

一御家中へ他所ゟ来る者一宿之儀は如前々其宿主ゟ目付中へ相断可申候自今は
御門預り之方へも可相断候尤翌日罷出候節帳に点懸け可申事
一御家中之末々又もの紙札にて出候歟以上留之外書添有之札は相通す間敷候相
部屋之者共家来之儀は其主人判形にて出可申候自然無據儀有之主人相対にて
家来借り申節は借主之判形にて可相通事

【右丁】
以下の件については目付中から許可を得て通ること。
一、御足軽以下が近所の湯に入る際は木札にて外出させること。
一、御家中召し使いの下々で、紙札であっても木札であっても脇指を差していない者は、堅く外出させてはならないこと。
一、御家中召し使いの者は口頭での許可申請にて外出してはならない。総じて女中で手形のない者は一切通してはならないこと。もっとも小女であっても同様のこと。
一、御出居番以下の小身の召し使いの下女が町への小使いに出る際は、木札にて外出させること。
一、諸職人が日用の御用にて御屋敷へ来る際は札なしにて出入りするが、昼休みに外出する際は木札にて出ること。何であっても持ち出す者は外出させてはならない。職人道具は格別のこと。
一、夜中に御家中へ他所から用事があって見廻りに来るか、使者を差し向ける際は、御門に留め置いて口頭にて取り次ぐこと。やむを得ない事情があれば目付中から許可の上にて通すこと。右の者が帰る際は、その宿主から送りの者を灯火を持たせて付き添わせ、許可を受けて通すこと。
但し御留守居中方への使者の件は従来通り通すこと。
一、昼夜を問わず御徒以下の面々で、たとえ急な御用と申して外出しようとする者があっても、確実な証拠がなければ外出させてはならない。その際は急な御用を承った方から許可次第通すこと。もっとも身分の上下によらず、もし不審な様子があれば通さずに目付中へ報告すること。

一、御家中の大身の者は代判の者が許可を申せば通すこと。右の代判の者はあらかじめその主人から許可の上にて札なしにて通すこと。もっともその際は主人から添え使いを口頭許可にて通すこと。
一、御家中へ来る女中・比丘尼・瞽女・座頭が参った場合は、まず行き先を承って帳に記して通すこと。右の者どもが帰る際は手形にて外出させること。
一、夜中に旅立ちをする者があっても、許可がなければ通してはならない。総じて昼夜を問わず荷物のある者は、目付中から許可の上にて通すこと。
一、御出入りの町人は奉行中から渡し置かれた木札にて通すこと。
附：河豚魚は御門内へ入れてはならないこと。
一、下々の浪人又は御国出身の者が御家中へ参ると申した場合は、来た先を承って通すこと。もし不審な様子であれば通してはならないこと。
一、御家中へ他所から来る者の一宿の件は従来の通りその宿主から目付中へ相談すること。今後は御門預かりの方へも相談すること。もっとも翌日外出する際は帳に印をつけること。
一、御家中の末々又は者の紙札にて外出するか、以上の留め置き以外の書き添えのある札は通してはならない。相部屋の者どもの家来の件はその主人の判形にて外出させること。自然やむを得ない事情があって主人が相対にて家来を借りる際は借主の判形にて通すこと。

The following matters shall be permitted to pass through with permission from the inspector officials:
1. When foot soldiers and below go to nearby baths, they shall go out with wooden tags.
1. Among the servants of house retainers, those who do not carry short swords, whether with paper tags or wooden tags, are strictly forbidden from going out.
1. Servants of house retainers shall not go out with only verbal permission. In general, female servants without proper passes shall not be allowed through at all. The same applies even to young girls.
1. When female servants of low-ranking officials such as attendant guards go to town on errands, they shall go out with wooden tags.
1. When various craftsmen come to the estate for daily duties, they may enter and exit without tags, but when going out during lunch breaks, they must go out with wooden tags. Those carrying anything out shall not be allowed to leave. Craftsmen's tools are an exception.
1. When someone from elsewhere comes to visit house retainers at night on business or sends a messenger, they shall be kept at the gate and business conducted through verbal communication. If there are unavoidable circumstances, they may pass through with permission from the inspector officials. When such persons return, the host shall send an escort with a light to accompany them, and they shall pass through after receiving permission.
However, messengers to the deputy officials shall pass through as before.
1. Regardless of day or night, even if foot soldiers and below claim to be going out on urgent official business, they shall not be allowed out without reliable proof. In such cases, they may pass through at the discretion of those who received the urgent official business. Regardless of rank, if there is anything suspicious, they shall not be allowed through and the matter shall be reported to the inspector officials.

1. For high-ranking house retainers, if their proxy officials request permission, they may pass through. Such proxy officials may pass through without tags, having received prior permission from their masters. In such cases, accompanying messengers from the master may pass through with verbal permission.
1. When female servants, Buddhist nuns, blind female musicians, or blind male musicians come to visit house retainers, their destinations shall first be confirmed and recorded in the register before allowing them through. When these individuals return, they shall go out with passes.
1. Even if there are people departing on journeys at night, they shall not be allowed through without permission. In general, day or night, those with baggage may pass through only with permission from the inspector officials.
1. Townspeople with business at the estate shall pass through with wooden tags provided by the magistrate officials.
Addition: Pufferfish shall not be brought inside the gate.
1. When lower-class ronin or people from the domain claim to be visiting house retainers, their destinations shall be confirmed before allowing them through. If their behavior seems suspicious, they shall not be allowed through.
1. Regarding overnight stays by visitors from elsewhere to house retainers, as before, the host shall consult with the inspector officials. From now on, they must also consult with the gate supervisors. When such visitors go out the following day, this shall be marked in the register.
1. Paper tags for the lowest-ranking house retainers or servants with additional writing other than the standard detention notice shall not be accepted. Regarding servants of those sharing quarters, they shall go out with their master's seal. If there are naturally unavoidable circumstances where a master directly borrows a servant, they may pass through with the borrower's seal.
