一享保十七子年閏五月廿四日霊岸嶋御屋敷御裏〆り之御定書番所へ指出す
一陽寿院様霊岸嶋御屋敷へ御移り被遊候節ゟ番所之覚
一御裏北之木戸は定〆に申付錠府印御屋敷預鈴木弥助相改め御用に付御裏
通路之節は弥助罷出取扱可仕事常は定〆り之事
一智高院様御部屋之後御裏口昼夜定番所に申付無之は御裏へ出入仕間敷旨相
定め御平生御用此口より可相達事尤六ツ切に不寝番所に可仕事
一只今御裏水門ふさき有之候に付此御水主番所南木戸口江引馬場通り
陽寿院様御屋形御裏之守り幷南木戸より角番所番人之通り夜廻之
者共通路此口より為致其外出入常は無用に可仕事
一鈴木弥助預り御花作り御裏に罷在候者共へ
陽寿院様御屋形後之見通しに幸罷在候間此者共誓紙申付御裏之〆り昼夜

現代語訳
一、享保十七子年閏五月二十四日、霊岸島御屋敷御裏締切りの御定書を番所へ提出する
一、陽寿院様が霊岸島御屋敷へお移りになった時からの番所の覚え
一、御裏北の木戸は定期締切りを申し付け、錠前印は御屋敷預かりの鈴木弥助が改めること。御用のために御裏通路を通る時は弥助が出向いて取り扱うこと。通常は定期締切りとすること。
一、智高院様の御部屋の後ろの御裏口は昼夜定番所に申し付け、許可なく御裏へ出入りしてはならない旨を定める。御平生の御用はこの口から伝達すること。もちろん六つ切（午後六時頃）に不寝番所に就くこと。
一、現在御裏水門が塞がれているため、この御水主番所を南木戸口へ、引馬場通りを通って移す。陽寿院様御屋形御裏の守りならびに南木戸より角番所番人の通り、夜回りの者たちの通路はこの口から行うこと。その他の出入りは通常は無用とすること。
一、鈴木弥助預かりの御花作りで御裏にいる者たちへ
陽寿院様御屋形後ろの見通しの良い場所にいるので、この者たちに誓紙を申し付け、御裏の締切り昼夜の守りを勤めるよう仰せ付けるべきかということ。
一、勝姫様御屋形後ろの番所をそのまま使用し
陽寿院様長局後ろ通りの都合の良い所なので、両御屋形を守り、昼夜番所に仰せ付けるべきこと。

1. On the 24th day of the intercalary 5th month of Kyōhō 17, Year of the Rat, the regulations for securing the rear areas of Reiganjima Residence were submitted to the guard posts.
1. Records of the guard posts from when Lady Yōjuin moved to Reiganjima Residence.
1. The north wooden gate of the rear area shall be regularly locked, with the lock seal to be inspected by Suzuki Yasuke, the residence custodian. When passage through the rear area is needed for official business, Yasuke shall come out and handle it. Normally, it shall remain regularly locked.
1. Regarding the rear entrance behind Lady Chikōin's chambers, it is decreed that permission from the regular guard post is required day and night, and no one shall enter or exit the rear area without authorization. Routine official business shall be conducted through this entrance. Of course, night watch duty shall commence at "mutsu-giri" (around 6 PM).
1. Since the rear water gate is currently blocked, this naval guard post shall be moved to the south wooden gate entrance via Hikiba-dōri. The protection of the rear of Lady Yōjuin's quarters, as well as the passage for guard personnel from the south wooden gate to the corner guard post and night patrol personnel, shall be conducted through this entrance. Other entrances and exits shall normally be unnecessary.
1. Regarding those under Suzuki Yasuke's supervision who work in flower cultivation in the rear area:
Since they are positioned advantageously with a clear view behind Lady Yōjuin's quarters, whether these personnel should be required to sign pledge documents and be ordered to perform day and night security duties for the rear area closure.
1. The guard post behind Lady Katsuhime's quarters shall continue to be used as is.
Since it is conveniently located along the passage behind Lady Yōjuin's long chambers, orders should be given to protect both quarters and maintain day and night guard posts.
