一御成之節御見通し場所に候得は表辻番所へ壱人相詰御徒目付壱人罷出候事
一御門前通御之節表御門内へ相詰御成還御共に相済候はゝ何之相替儀も無之
旨可申上事
一御成被仰出候得は前日御門札留申付三丁火之番相廻所之御屋敷并町宅之面々真
柄勘助方江も申遣前々之通取扱候事
一御門前通御之節飾手桶差出事尤御払之時何も御屋敷内へ引取可申事
但方角違御成之節は不及差出事

水玉
一、御成の節、御見通し場所であるので、表辻番所へ一人詰めさせ、御徒目付一人が出向くこと
一、御門前を通られる節、表御門内へ詰めさせ、御成の還御ともに済んだならば、何も変わったことはない旨を申し上げること
一、御成が仰せ出されたならば、前日に御門札留を申し付け、三丁の火の番が回る所の御屋敷並びに町宅の面々、真柄勘助方へも申し遣わし、前々の通り取り扱うこと
一、御門前を通られる節、飾り手桶を差し出すこと。もっとも御払いの時は何もかも御屋敷内へ引き取るべきこと
ただし方角違いの御成の節は差し出すに及ばないこと

Mizutama (Water Ceremony)
Article 1: During the lord's official visit, since this is a location where the lord can be seen, one person shall be stationed at the front crossroads guardhouse, and one foot soldier inspector (o-kachi-metsuke) shall be dispatched.
Article 1: When the lord passes in front of the gate, [guards] shall be stationed inside the front gate, and when both the lord's visit and return have been completed, it shall be reported that there were no unusual incidents.
Article 1: When an official visit is announced, on the previous day gate pass restrictions shall be ordered, and notification shall be sent to the mansions and town residences where the fire watch of the three districts (san-chō) makes rounds, as well as to Magara Kansuke's residence, handling [the matter] as in previous times.
Article 1: When the lord passes in front of the gate, decorative water buckets shall be presented. Of course, at the time of purification, everything shall be withdrawn into the mansion grounds.
However, when the official visit is in a different direction (kata-chigai), there is no need to present [the buckets].
