一、御前様・御姫様方が芝居の者どもを召され御覧になられる節は、表御書院にて行われる。その節は御目付を一人ずつ詰めさせ、もっとも楽屋向きの諸事の締まり、火の元を改め、御徒目付も指し出すこと。
ただし近例（宝暦十・明和元年）四申年、御目付松浦幸右衛門・粕谷彦右衛門・今村段右衛門らが相勤めた。

1. When the lord's consort and princesses summon theater performers for viewing, this takes place in the front formal reception hall. On such occasions, one inspector each is stationed on duty. Most importantly, all matters concerning the backstage area are secured, fire sources are inspected, and foot inspectors are also deployed.
However, according to recent precedent (Hōreki 10/Meiwa 1), in the 4th year of the Monkey, inspectors Matsuura Kōemon, Kasuya Hikoemon, and Imamura Danemon and others served in this capacity.
