一道中荷物之儀
公儀御定之通包物共に不可過四拾貫目候
一乗掛葛篭跡付乗敷共に弐拾弐貫五百匁

無礼無之様に仕罷通可申候或は山坂橋際道せはき所にて片寄待合罷通

一、道中荷物の件
公儀御定めの通り、包物とも四十貫目を超えてはならない
一、乗掛葛籠・跡付・乗敷とも二十二貫五百匁
外に 蒲団 提灯

右の外は無用である。もし重い荷物があれば、問屋方からこの件について連絡があるはずである。例年の通り、荷物は今庄にて御徒目付の吟味があるので、その意を得て、下々へ厳重に申し付けること。以上

今度御参勤（御帰国）につき、御道中御条目は別紙の通りなので、各々その意を得ること。以上

一、御道中御条目の趣旨に背いてはならない。それぞれ支配の者へ厳重に申し付け、その上で道中にて病人その他、何事によらず少しの事でも変わった事があれば、各々支配の者が残って吟味を遂げ、その詳細を申し上げて御指図を受けること。万一そのように処置せず後日に知れた場合は、その節は何分にも仰せ付けられる
一、御泊宿で翌朝我々仲間が吟味し、何事によらず変わった事があれば早々申し上げること
【その他私共支配の内で子細があれば早速申し上げること】
一、御扶持人は言うまでもなく、御雇いの御駕籠の者並びに日用取共が途中で病気になっても、みだりに捨て置いてはならない。なお無宿者にしないよう、総じて少しの事でも変わった事があれば申し上げること
一、道中において御番衆がお通りの節、道で行き合えば、人馬とも行き当たらないよう片寄り、無礼のないよう通ること。あるいは山坂・橋際・道の狭い所では片寄って待ち合わせて通ること。その他御大名衆お通りの節も右同様にすること。総じて軽率な事をしてはならない

Article 1: The principles of travel regulations must not be violated. Strictly order respective supervisors, and furthermore, if there are any changes regarding sick people or any other matter, however minor, during travel, respective supervisors shall remain to conduct investigations, report the details, and receive instructions. If such procedures are not followed and this becomes known later, punishment will be imposed at that time.
