翌年の頃より芝の中屋鋪遥拝の社へ毎月十日諸人の参詣を

文鳳堂の話
○地震の後、堀田備中守殿が御老中の仰せを蒙られ、その跡の小川町焼跡の御屋敷の地は松平伊賀守殿、森川万亀之丞殿の御屋敷となった。
○松平陸奥守殿は稀な地震につき取り急ぎ上納米の件をお願いされ、一万俵を納められたという。
日光御門跡《銀百枚》、増上寺方丈《銀百枚》には、この度の地震とその後も振動があることについて御祈祷料として遣わされたという。

○At the residence of the Lord of Sendai, there was a divine message from Shiogama Myōjin of Ōshū foretelling the earthquake. From before this time, the domain's samurai had prepared themselves mentally, and many camped outdoors, so there were few injuries. However, there may have been some who did not believe, as there were about six instant deaths at the upper residence and about twenty at the Fukagawa residence. <<Story from Fukagawa Genshunshi>>
From around the following year, people were permitted to worship at the distant worship shrine of the Shiba middle residence on the 10th of each month.
○At Lord Doi Ōi-no-kami's lower residence in Fukagawa Sarue, the residence of the retired lady collapsed, and she escaped to the garden.

Among the serving ladies, some who were slow to escape were injured. One woman who was in her room was instantly killed when a beam fell and a metal clamp pierced through from her collar to her throat. Soon after, the long house burned down.
Story from Bunpōdō
○After the earthquake, Lord Hotta Bitchū-no-kami received orders as a senior councilor, and the land of his residence in the burned area of Ogawa-chō became the residences of Lord Matsudaira Iga-no-kami and Lord Morikawa Mankame-no-jō.
○Lord Matsudaira Mutsu-no-kami, regarding this rare earthquake, urgently requested about tribute rice and contributed ten thousand hyō.
To the Nikkō Gate Abbot <<one hundred pieces of silver>> and the head priest of Zōjō-ji <<one hundred pieces of silver>>, money was given as prayer fees regarding this earthquake and the continued tremors afterward.
