本郷の附木店御持組屋敷で三人が即死した。《御弓町住居の御鉄炮師富岡佐平次の細工場二間半に三間の屋根が揺れとともに飛んで跡形もない》
牛込棚下の酒井侯屋敷では喬木八十本余りが折れ倒れた。
千駄木の紫泉亭は三階造りの家作で地震を逃れたが、今度は柱が折れて傾いた。青山の松平隠岐守殿屋敷は総潰れである。
二十六日、商家は皆営業を休止した。飲食店や茶店の家作は無事であったが、各々商いを休んだ。

江川太郎左衛門殿御屋敷は当時新銭座である。海岸では大風雨で家屋が動揺して危険であったが、調練の御見分所は床が高く、その上近頃の造営で家も丈夫である。
