一明和六丑年正月御代官兼務被
仰付候事
一同年十二月近年差掛之御用在之候節
地下米金調達之儀精出急御用御凌二
相成候二付ゐ御褒美綿弐把被下置候
事
一安永四未年十二月願之通御代官兼
務被成御免 御城御番相勤候事
但辞役願之通病気一通ニも無之
支配所窮所ニ在之候上不作ニ而御収
納方を始都而取斗方此末難渋ニ相見
見込無之由ニ候処未中吟味をも不相
遂儀ニ候へハ金当時取立納下り等不相分
時節ニ在之尤一統手柄之義ニ候得者
不相及迄も尽紛骨御取立之筋
可致勘弁儀ニ候処御取立肝要之
時節病気と乍申辞役申出候段
甚不相当義ニ 思召候此段叱候様

現代語訳
一、明和六年（丑年）正月、御代官兼務を仰せ付けられた件
一、同年十二月、近年差し迫った御用がある際、地下米金調達の件について精を出し、急な御用のお凌ぎに相成ったことに付き、御褒美として綿二把を下し置かれた件
一、安永四年（未年）十二月、願いの通り御代官兼務を御免成され、御城御番相勤めた件
但し辞役願いの通り、病気一通りにも無く、支配所が窮所にあることの上、不作にて御収納方を始め全て取り計らい方がこの末難渋に相見え、見込みが無いとのことであるが、未だ中途で吟味をも相遂げない儀であるので、金の当時取り立て納め下がり等が相分からない時節にある。もっとも一統手柄の義であるので、及ばないまでも尽力紛骨して御取り立ての筋を致すべく勘弁の儀であるところ、御取り立て肝要の時節に病気と申しながら辞役を申し出た段、甚だ相当でない義に思し召される。この段叱るよう仰せ出された件

1. In the 12th month of the same year: When urgent official duties arose in recent years, he worked diligently on procuring rice and money from the common people, which helped tide over urgent official needs. For this, he was rewarded with two bundles of cotton.
1. In the 12th month of An'ei 4 (1775, Year of the Sheep): As requested, he was relieved of his concurrent duty as district magistrate and returned to serving castle guard duty.
However, regarding his resignation request: although he claimed no particular illness, his administrative district was in dire straits, and due to poor harvests, tax collection and all administrative matters seemed to face difficulties with no prospects for improvement. Since investigations were still incomplete and it was unclear when current tax levies and collections could be determined, this was indeed a time requiring collective effort. Even if inadequate, he should have devoted himself wholeheartedly to tax collection efforts. Yet at this crucial time for tax collection, despite claiming illness, his request for resignation was deemed highly inappropriate by his lord. He was ordered to be reprimanded for this matter.
