　免ニ付幷御役井深四郎兵衛組ニ罷成

一元禄三午年二月願之通忰九郎左

現代語訳

一、同十一亥年二月　勤番として江戸表へ上り、一陣相勤めた事

一、同十二子年十月　眼病を患ったところ、種々ありがたい御意向の上、願いの通り御役を御免になり、外様組付を仰せ付けられ、神保茂左衛門組に入り、御城御番を相勤めた事

一、延宝七未年夏頃　神保茂左衛門が御役御免になったことに伴い、井深四郎兵衛組に移った事

一、天和二戌年六月　頭の井深四郎兵衛が御役御免になったことに伴い、跡役として萱野権兵衛組に所属することになった事

一、貞享三寅年十月　勤番として江戸表へ上り、一陣相勤めて下った事

一、元禄三午年二月　願いの通り、息子九郎左衛門に御番代を仰せ付けられた事

一、同九子年二月　七十二歳にて病死。法名は本源自性信士、葬所は大宝山建福寺

1. Same [era] 11, year of the Boar (1671), 2nd month: He went up to Edo for guard duty service and performed one tour of duty.

1. Same [era] 12, year of the Rat (1672), 10th month: When he suffered from an eye disease, through various gracious considerations from his lord, his request was granted and he was relieved of his duties. He was appointed to the external retainer group and entered Jinbo Mozaemon's unit, where he performed castle guard duty.

1. Enpō 7, year of the Sheep (1679), around summer: When Jinbo Mozaemon was relieved of his duties, he was transferred to Ibuka Shirōbee's unit.

1. Tenna 2, year of the Dog (1682), 6th month: When the head Ibuka Shirōbee was relieved of his duties, he was assigned to Kayano Gonbee's unit as his successor.

1. Jōkyō 3, year of the Tiger (1686), 10th month: He went up to Edo for guard duty service, performed one tour of duty, and returned.

1. Genroku 3, year of the Horse (1690), 2nd month: As requested, his son Kurōzaemon was appointed as his guard duty substitute.

1. Same [era] 9, year of the Rat (1696), 2nd month: He died of illness at the age of seventy-two. His posthumous Buddhist name was Hongen Jishō Shinji, and he was buried at Daihōzan Kenpuku-ji Temple.
