此池（このいけ）は龍池（りようち）也／長安城（ちやうあんじやう）の東（ひがし）にあり滄池（あをきいけ）漭沆（ふかくひろく）天然（てんねん）と出来（でき）て龍（りよう）が住（すむ）昆明地（こんめいち）は漢（かん）の武帝（ぶてい）の
時（とき）人力（じんりよく）をかりて堀（ほり）しには勝（まさ）りしこと也／天子行幸（てんしみゆき）あるゆゑ左右（さゆう）の岸（きし）を夾（さしはさみ）て旌旗（せいき）を建（たて）ならべ
輦道（みゆきみち）を疏（わかち）てある流（なが）れの真中（まんなか）に簫（せう）を吹（ふき）太鼓（たいこ）をならし音楽（おんがく）の面白（おもしろ）き声（こゑ）が天子（てんし）の
まします楼船（やかたふね）に振（ひゞき）わたる船中（せんちう）よりみれば雲（くも）のたな引（びく）峰（みね）が四方（しはう）より起（たち）あがり御座（ござ）の
前（まへ）にかゝりある幄（とばり）を迎（むかへ）てひとつになるやうな水（みづ）のはたにある樹木（じゆもく）がいくらも重（かさな）り
合（あふ）て御筵（おざしき）の中（なか）にかげが入（いり）こむ山水（さんすゐ）が心有（こゝろあり）げにいづれも天子（てんし）に供奉（ぐぶ）する様（やう）にみゆる御酒（ごしゆ）

興慶池にて宴に侍り応制す　　　　　韋元旦

蒼い池は深く広がり帝都の辺りにあり。特に昆明池を漢の時代に掘ったことに勝っている。岸を挟んで旌旗が御幸の道を分け、流れの中ほどでは簫や太鼓が楼船に響き渡る。雲峰が四方に起こって天子の御座の幄を迎え、水辺の樹木が幾重にも重なって御宴の席に入り込む。宴楽はすでに深まり魚藻の詩を詠じ、恩を受けてさらに甘泉宮に奉仕したいと思う。【印「天真」】

この池は龍池である。長安城の東にあり、蒼い池が深く広く天然にできて龍が住む。昆明池は漢の武帝の時に人力を借りて掘ったものには勝っていることである。天子が行幸されるので左右の岸を挟んで旌旗を建て並べ、御幸の道を分けてある。流れの真ん中で簫を吹き太鼓を鳴らし、音楽の面白い声が天子のいらっしゃる楼船に響き渡る。船中から見れば雲のたなびく峰が四方より立ち上がり、御座の前にかかっている幄を迎えて一つになるような、水のほとりにある樹木がいくつも重なり合って御宴の中に影が入り込む。山水が心があるかのようにいずれも天子に供奉するように見える。御酒

Attending a Banquet at Xingqing Pool - Imperial Command Poem　　　　Wei Yuandan

The azure pool spreads deep and wide beside the imperial city. It especially surpasses the Kunming Pool that was dug in the Han era. Banners flank the shores and divide the imperial procession route, while flutes and drums in midstream resonate through the tower boats. Cloud peaks rise from all directions to greet the imperial canopy, and waterside trees in countless layers enter into the imperial feast. The banquet revelry has already deepened with fish and water-plant poetry, and receiving imperial favor, I wish to serve even more at Ganquan Palace. [Seal: "Tenshin"]

This pool is Dragon Pool. Located east of Chang'an city, the azure pool formed naturally, deep and wide, where dragons dwell. It surpasses the Kunming Pool that was dug during Emperor Wu of Han's time using human labor. Since the Son of Heaven makes his imperial progress here, banners are erected along both shores and the imperial route is marked out. In the middle of the stream, flutes are played and drums beaten, their delightful musical sounds resonating through the tower boat where the Son of Heaven resides. Viewed from within the boat, cloud-wreathed peaks rise from all four directions to greet the curtains before the imperial seat, seeming to become one with them. Trees along the waterside layer upon layer, their shadows entering into the imperial banquet hall. The landscape appears as if possessed of consciousness, all seeming to attend upon the Son of Heaven. The imperial wine...
