医者の選考があって、耆婆の弟子でイバという者を療治に遣わされる。

「早付きの石漆での療治をいたしましょう。」
【狐たちの台詞】
「これは、もっともなことでございます。
それにしても、不運な御怪我で、お気の毒でございます。
お蔭様で、あなたの薬でよろしゅうございます。」
【鬼】
「鬼も見舞いに駆けつける。」
【地獄の役人】
「倶生神も御見舞い。」
【地蔵の台詞】
「皆々、この分なら世話をこうむる。」
【三途川原の婆】
「三途川原の婆も看病ながら見舞いに来たる。」
