現代語訳
左記の者たちに才判（許可証）をお与えいただきたい段について、物産方が受け持ち申し出ました書付ともども拝見いたしました。それに従い、まず試しとして二、三年取り行わせ申し付けますが、御益銀については当時は徴収いたしませんので、十分に安い値段で売買を行い、いよいよ程よく実行されるようであれば、なお又その節に申し出るよう申し聞かせました。この件の趣旨は町奉行・郡代へも申し聞かせ置く儀、了解すべき旨を元入中へ申し達すこと。
英語訳
Regarding the matter of granting saiban (official permits) to the aforementioned individuals, we have reviewed the written application that the Products Office (bussan-kata) has taken responsibility for and submitted. Accordingly, we will first order them to conduct this as a trial for two to three years. However, the benefit silver (goeki-gin) will not be collected at this time, so they should conduct sales at sufficiently low prices. If this is carried out successfully, they should submit another application at that time, as we have instructed them. The purport of this matter shall also be communicated to the town magistrate (machi-bugyō) and county magistrate (gunday), and this understanding should be conveyed to the principal merchants (moto-iri-chū).
