現代語訳

参府後、万端心を尽くし一統申し談じ、御次向の締り方等まで良く相聞こえるにつき、ご褒美として綿二把を御内々にて下賜された。 同三亥年五月、奥番当座仮役を仰せ付けられた。  但し、この後度々仰せ付けられる。 同年九月、平日精励して勤め、その上十年以来皆勤したにつき、ご褒美として御小袖一つを下賜される旨、御用人を以て仰せ出され、御品は御前において下賜された。 同四子年三月、  良徳院様の御手習の御相手を精励したにつき、御同人様より綿一把を下賜された。   但し、この後年々下賜される。 同五丑年三月、御納戸払いを止められ、その後御省略につき御召下の御品の御溜も微々であるが、御溜の分この節の思し召しにより御紋縮緬の御肩衣一、御袴一を下賜された。 同年四月、永詰めになり諸費も多く有る由のところ、月一分金等の御貸しも無く取り続け兼ねる由につき、格別に御参府の形を以て無

After arriving in Edo, he devoted himself wholeheartedly to all matters, consulting with his colleagues, and even the management of the lord's quarters was well attended to, so he was secretly granted two bundles of cotton as a reward. In the fifth month of the third year of Kansei (1791), he was appointed to the temporary position of inner guard duty. Note: He would be appointed to this position repeatedly thereafter. In the ninth month of the same year, for his diligent daily service and perfect attendance over the past ten years, it was announced through the chief retainer that one kosode would be granted as a reward, and the item was bestowed in the lord's presence.
